PET & SERVICE ANIMAL POLICY
For the safety of all guests, workers, and our farm animals: (NEW POLICY AS OF AUGUST 8, 2023)
Pet dogs “always on a short leash” (under 6 feet) are well-behaved and show no aggression towards people or other animals.
No pet pigs, ostriches, cats, snakes, or any other type of animal are allowed on the property.
Service animals that comply with all rules set forth on the ADA.gov website, “ALWAYS-ON-A-SHORT-LEASH” (UNDER 6 FOOT), are welcome and show no aggression towards people or other animals.
We are a working farm, and there are too many things a pet, whether well-behaved or not, can do on or off leash that can scare or harm others, whether off leash or even when restrained on leash.
If your animal exhibits any aggression, please respect our policy just as we would respect any policies you had if we visited your home or place of business and removed your animal before it caused harm.
As your pet or service animal “responsible human,” we ask that you help us keep everyone safe and enjoy their visit to NJoy Spirits Distillery.
We know you love your pet, and you like to take it with you everywhere and let it enjoy the great outdoors. We are not a dog park. We are a working farm, and we are not a location for your pet to be able to safely ‘Run Free’ without potential risk to itself, our other visitors, our workers, and our working animals, including our working farm dog Rummer, who has the ‘run of our property.’ Hence, your pet or service animal must be well-behaved (no visible aggression), and as “it’s a responsible human,” you are required to keep it “on a short leash at all times” (under a 6-foot leash), keep it under control, and clean up after it “poops” (even in the woods and parking area).
Guests who violate our PET policy must leave the property immediately. We are serious about the safety of all our visitors, workers, and farm animals; their safety and comfort are our first priorities.
