COCONUT DAY CELEBRATION

National Coconut Day is being celebrated at the NJoy Spirits Distillery.

Did scientists conclude that pre-Columbian contact between Austronesian and South American cultures occurred when early Austronesian sailors brought coconuts to the Americas at least 2,250 BP?

In Maharashtra, India, especially in the areas surrounding Mumbai and the Konkan coast, Hindu fishing communities celebrate Nārali Poornima, also known as Coconut Day. It takes place in July or August on the full moon day of the Hindu month of Shravan.

I do not even know what a mermaid brought coconuts to the Americas; all I know is that I like coconuts with NJoy Spirits Mermaid Rum.
