RECIPE FRIDAY – WILD BUCK WHISKEY RUSTY NAIL
Well, it is Friday, so it’s time for NJoy Spirits Distillery Cocktail recipe of the week.
This weekend we are celebrating National Friends Day and National Scotch Day.
Did you know that Scotch is just whiskey made in Scotland from either Barley or a mix of grains?
Well, since Florida is in the good old US of A, we call our Scotch “Wild Buck Whiskey”!
But in respect of Scotland, our cocktail this week is the #1 Scottish Scotch cocktail for 2021.
Yep, it’s of the most famous Scotch cocktails of them all: the Rusty Nail. This slow sipper got popular in the 1960s, pairing whisky with Drambuie, a Scotch-based liqueur. All you need is two ingredients, and you get lots of flavors: honey, herb, and sweet notes from the Drambuie and a spicy finish from the Scotch.
4 parts Scotch (Wild Buck Whiskey)
1 part Drambuie
1 Large Cube “Clear Ice.”
This lets the Scotch (Wild Buck Whiskey) shine through, and it’s just sweet enough.
Of course, you see in the picture I made two glasses in celebration of National Friends Day!
Remember, we do sell all three of our products at the end of our “Tour and Tasting,” but you’ll have to wait until you get home to try out our Friday posted drink recipe. Trust us. It will be worth the wait!
Tours and Sampling of all three of our Florida-grown and made “Wild Buck Whiskey,” “Mermaid Rum,” and “Ryes-In-Shine Moonshine.” $8 per adult Tour and the Tasting fee is credited towards any “Wild Buck Whiskey,” “Mermaid Rum,” and “Ryes-In-Shine Moonshine” bottle purchase.
