OLD-FASHIONED WHISKEY COCKTAIL
The Old Fashioned Whiskey Cocktail recipe calls for combining sugar, bitters, and water, then adding whiskey (or, less frequently, brandy) and orange slices as garnish. Serving the Old Fashioned Whiskey Cocktail in an old-fashioned glass is a tradition that dates back to the invention of the drink itself.
INGREDIENTS: (OLD FASHIONED WHISKEY COCKTAIL)
- 2-1/2 oz Wild Buck Whiskey
- 1/2 oz Simple Syrup
- 3 dash Angostura Bitters
- 1-3 Large Cubes “Clear Ice.”
DIRECTIONS: (OLD FASHIONED WHISKEY COCKTAIL)
- Place sugar cube in an old-fashioned glass and saturate with bitters
- Add a dash of plain water
- Muddle until dissolved
- Fill the glass with ice cubes and add Wild Buck Whiskey
- Garnish with an orange slice
